Andrew Cole Inducted into the Dal Tigers Hall of Fame

Andrew Cole was inducted today, Saturday September 29th, 2012 into Dalhousie University’s Sport Hall of Fame for his accomplishments as a Tiger.

During his Tigers career Andrew Cole collected 17 AUAA medals and eight CIAU medals to earn distinction as an AUAA all-star and a CIAU first team all-Canadian. He set AUAA, Dalhousie, and Nova Scotia records in the 100m and 200m Breaststroke events and helped the Tigers claim the 1981-82 AUAA Championship title. A five-time Dalhousie swimming team MVP and two-time AUAA Male Swimmer of the Year (1983-84, 1984-85), Andrew also received the Climo Award as Dalhousie’s Male Athlete of the Year in the 1983-84 season.
