INSURANCE CLARIFICATIONS RELATED TO DRYLAND TRAINING DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Clubs and Coaches registered with Swim Nova have been asked to follow guidelines with respect to dryland training and club programming. These restrictions have been modified to facilitate online training for registered swimmers through the COVID-19 pandemic.
A separate email has been sent to Club Head Coaches with clarifications and instructions related to the delivery of dryland training including a link to register.

Canada Emergency Business Account
The new Canada Emergency Business Account will provide interest-free loans of up to $40,000 to small businesses and not-for-profits, to help cover their operating costs during a period where their revenues have been temporarily reduced.
Before December 31, 2022
- 0% interest
- No principal payments
- Eligible for $10,000 forgiveness if $30,000 is fully repaid
Extended beyond December 31, 2022
- 5% interest will apply during extension period
- Loan must be repaid by December 31, 2025
Eligibility
- An operating company registered in Canada and in business on March 1, 2020
- An annual payroll of between $50,000 and $1 million based on 2019 T4 Summary of Remuneration Paid
This program will roll out in mid-April, and interested businesses should work with their current financial institutions.
