Nova Scotia Swimmers Wrap-Up Competition at the Canadian Swimming Championships with Another Great Day in the Pool

Eleven of Nova Scotia’s top swimmers wrapped up competition today at Montreal’s Olympic Park Sports Centre during the 2018 Canadian Swimming Championships.

Top swims of the day included Sackville Waves swimmer, Natasha Sexton Quillan in the Para women’s S10 100m Freestyle with a sixth-place finish with a time of 1:12.77.   The Halifax Trojans women’s relay team also finished in sixth place in the 4 x 100m Medley Relay with a time of 4:35.39, relay members included Hanna Mountford, Isabelle Dearnaley, Madison Archer and Ashleigh McKenna; and teammate Danial Murphy finished ninth in the Para men’s S5 100m Freestyle with a time of 1:32.45.

Nova Scotia’s top junior swimmers will be competing next weekend during the Eastern Canadian Swimming Championships in Windsor, Ontario April 12-15th, 2018.
