11 of Nova Scotia’s top swimmers wrapped up competition today at the 2018 Speedo Eastern Canadian Championships at the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre.
Today’s top finishers from Nova Scotia included Lucy Jardine of the Sackville Waves Aquatic Team, who finished eighth in the 13-15 women’s 1500m Freestyle, and Nicholas Bourbonniere of the Halifax Trojan Aquatic Club who finished 17thin the B final of the men’s 200m Individual Medley with a time of 2:16.68.
This long course competition served as an excellent racing and development opportunity for Youth and Junior competitors, and was held on the same weekend as the Speedo Western Canadian Championships in Victoria, B.C.
