Swim Nova Scotia Award Recipients Recognized!

Swim Nova Scotia is pleased to announce our 2016-17 award recipients!

Nova Scotia continues to have outstanding achievements and growth.  This year the following individuals gave exceptional performances and have made significant contributions to the sport of swimming in our Province.

The following individuals will be recognized at the 2017 Ken Dunn NS Provincial Championships on July 9th, 2017.

Speedo Female Swimmer of the Year: Jade Hannah, Halifax Trojan Aquatic Club

Speedo Male Swimmer of the Year: Morrgan Payne, Dartmouth Crusaders Swim Club/Dalhousie University Tigers

Speedo PARA Swimmer of the Year: Danial Murphy, Sackville Waves Aquatic Team/Truro Centurions Swim Club

Speedo PARA Performance Coach of the Year: Kevin Ross, Sackville Waves Aquatic Team/Truro Centurions Swim Club

Speedo Performance Coach of the Year: Chris Stone, Halifax Trojan Aquatic Club

Speedo Development Coach of the Year: Ian Cunningham, Halifax Trojan Aquatic Club

Speedo Official of the Year: York Friesen, Dartmouth Crusaders Swim Club

Speedo Volunteer of the Year: Brian MacKinnon, Pictou County Mariners
