About Us
Swim Nova Scotia is the governing body for all swim clubs in Nova Scotia. Our organization is made up of over 50 clubs – including, summer, year-round and masters, and boasts a membership of over 2,500 (swimmers, coaches, volunteers and officials) ranging in ages 5 to 80 years old. Our mission is to support and produce individual excellence.
How to Join
Find one of our member teams in your area to join the competitive side of the sport and improve your swimming skills. Clubs offer a variety of programming for everyone from kids just starting out to adult masters who have been swimming for decades. Contact these teams directly to learn about the many options on how to join a Club and enjoy swimming at any level!
Safe Sport
Swim Nova Scotia believes that athletes, coaches, officials, support staff and volunteers have the right to participate in a safe and inclusive sport environment that is free of abuse, harassment and discrimination. We provide a safe and inclusive environment, which involves promoting Open and Observable Environments.

Coaches
Coaches play a key role in the development of swimmers and programs in order to achieve sport success. Swim Nova Scotia supports the need for recruiting, educating and ongoing professional development of all coaches.
Events
Competitive swimming events are a great way to challenge the swimmers in your club to reach for their best. Events are hosted by clubs and Swim Nova Scotia throughout the season following Swimming Canada’s Swimmer Development Model.
Swimmers
Swim Nova Scotia works to provide programming for all swimmers to ensure they have the appropriate environment at each stage of their swimming development. We provide appropriate programming through our Provincial Team events, such as tour teams and camps and work closely with our Clubs. We promote excellence in swimming at all levels.
