Sport Culture Index

Earlier this season, key community members took the time to participate in the Sport Culture Index, a novel cultural assessment tool that provides critical information on the lived experience of participants within Swim Nova Scotia.

We invited a group of participants including club head coaches, administrators, and presidents to take the survey and share their views on swimming in Nova Scotia.

As the first sport in Nova Scotia, and among the first in the country to undertake this review, we continue to be committed to being sector leaders in monitoring and measuring the health of our culture, as we believe this will help us mitigate risks and leverage existing strengths.

Thank you to those that participated & we look forward to our next phase that will launch at the club level next season!
