2024 AA Spring Champs Meet Details

In preparation for the upcoming AA Spring Champs that Swim NS will be hosting this weekend with HTAC, please see the Session Reports and Psych Sheets and please carefully read all of the following important information (we’ve had to make several modifications to ensure we meet the timelines for bulkhead pull and to get the AAA Meet in) and share with your swimmers:

 RELAYS

  • Relay cards are due at the start of finals daily, name changes will be accepted until 30 minutes before the start of the first relay.

OFFICIALS

The assignment of officials is now available as of Friday June 7th. We are still in need of officials for all positions and timers; if you are interested in helping out as a timer or senior official, please email Kelley

Thanks in advance to everyone who has volunteered to help out so far!

AWARDS

  • Award presentations will take place during finals – we are requesting that you send your swimmers that have placed in the top 3 to the awards podium as soon as their event is complete or send a designate.

  • Swimmers should wear a team shirt or jacket during the medal presentations.

  • All medal presentations will take place on the diving platform.

  • Ribbons will be distributed to teams throughout the weekend to coaches.

  • High point awards and the Team Spirit award will be presented on Sunday at the conclusion of finals at ~7:20pm on the awards podium following the last set of medal presentations.

  • Swim NS Annual Awards will be presented on Saturday at 5:15pm on the Awards Podium – this will take place during warm-ups, swimmers do NOT need to end their warm-ups, they can continue with their warm-ups…

FACILITY ACCESS

  • Parking passes are required on Friday during prelims; coaches may pick yours up at the start of warm-ups from the computer room under the scoreboard. 1 parking pass will be available per team. Officials will receive their passes from Kelley Polley on Friday when they check-in. All others should use the pay and display parking or park in an alternate area.

  • Everyone must enter Dalplex Pool through the main entrance, through the turnstiles and check-in with the front desk staff.

  • Swimmers will be receiving bag tags from HTAC on Friday morning – these will be available in the computer room under the scoreboard.  Swimmers can use these tags for quicker access through the turnstiles to avoid check-in.

  • The emergency doors will NOT be open this weekend.
